img_3161-1.jpgSo as hard as I try, sometimes life gets a little dysfunctional and terribly disorganized. My own living space has become clutter central. Frankly, I hate that. So, what do I do when it all gets to be too much? Reorganize. I found a very helpful site and am looking forward to reclaiming my closet and life. 😀 It has articles and tips covering every facet of life that needs organizing. Check it out. Hey, who wants to come raid my over-stuffed closet?

This past weekend Rachel Marie showed me the most adorably shabby online store. Whether you normally like dresses or not, these are going to crawl into your heart and seriously make you consider reconstructing your summer wardrobe. Check out I just found the inspiration to thin out my closet… So I can stuff it again!

And since this site deals with the girlie issues of the day, I can’t help but point out a helpful little site on beauty tips, hair care and make up. Don’t we just love being girls?

img_1513.jpgNo, actually, it’s not.

Instead, it’s an advertisement!

Uh, well, not really.

Ok, it’s an encouragement to check out the awesome radio talk show, Way of the Master Radio, hosted by Freakishly Tall Friel, aka.Todd Friel.  If you have never tuned in, well my dear friend, you are seriously missing out!  Tune in to this great radio show aired daily  for two hours.  You’ll not only gain helpful insight into various aspects of the Christian life, but you’ll also be entertained by Todd’s witty humor.

As Todd would say, it’s time to “Talk the Walk!”

PS!  Please check out my personal blog for a brief summary of my evening November the 18th, 2007… You’ll enjoy the pictures, words, and video (of Todd-), I promise.img_0009.jpg

Rachel Marie is a sweet young lady who loves the Lord with all her heart. She is keenly interested in the study of biblical womanhood and authored a well-noted article, Just a Girl Through & Through. Along with her gift of writing, her hobbies also include photography, flowers, sewing and a host of other avenues she uses to vent her creativity. Her heart beat is missions with a particular love for China.

Women. Emotional. Two words that happen to often coincide with each other.

My emotions would play tricks on me! I’d over analyze everything little thing a guy friend would do! I’d go over and over and over again what he said, what he did, how he looked at me, how he interacted with me, and when I would be with him again (This normally included me trying to figure out how I could make sure we’d spend time together!).

Sound familiar? For those of us who are single, there’s a set of emotions that dream, wish, want and… lust. Learn where victory resides by reading the rest of the above excerpted article: Being an Emotional Woman (by Heather Paulsen, author of the book: Emotional Purity: An Affair of the Heart).

Feelings are futile. Do not seek them out and allow your emotions to play with your heart and dictate your actions.

◊ I would like to add as a side note that there are two extremes to this issue. Lust is a prowling monster in our society, always prevalent and grasping. I have observed countless godly young ladies recognize this danger, and in a quest to thwart it in their lives, they overcorrect. They have allowed their emotions to become numb and their dreams, aspirations and endeavors become misplaced and extra-biblical. Perhaps in the future we can cover this issue.
